God of the Darkness Series

This has been a difficult season for many in our church and surrounding town. Is God still with us when life feels dark? Join us Sunday afternoons beginning February 3 at 3:00 p.m. as we read two books that explore how God’s presence in hardship helps us grow into mature faith.

We’ll be reading Learning to Walk in the Dark and Lessons I Learned in the Dark.

Open Communion

Every Wednesday during Lent the church will be open 7am-7pm for communion, prayer, reflection, or silence. You are invited to come and stay a while.

Community Ash Wednesday

We invite you to join us March 6 at Mendota First Presbyterian Church (1003 5th St.) for a community Ash Wednesday Service. Worship begins at 7 p.m.

Cookie Bake

Join us March 16 at 10 a.m. to bake cookies for our college students as we prepare their care packages. All ingredients and baking supplies will be provided. You simply need to bring yourself!
